Experience

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their Ethical Framework. My experience includes working with adults, the elderly and students in the following areas:

Abuse, Anxiety, Bereavement, Confidence, Cultural Issues, Depression, Self-Esteem, Stress, Trauma, Work Related Issues including redundancy

We all have periods in our lives when we feel low, this can be following a loss, bereavement, illness or because a past experience keeps rearing it’s head

“I didn’t realise how angry I was until I started counselling. Sandra helped me recognise that my anger came from an accumulation of things in my past. The experience has helped me find my voice and I now feel able to speak up when I need to.”

“After losing my job, my self-worth was non-existent. Sandra helped me recognise my worth and find my confidence again.”

“The pain of losing my husband was unbearable but week after week, Sandra listened whilst I recounted memories. Some weeks there was more crying than talking but I always felt safe and reassured. I’m not sure I would have got to where I am today without counselling. Thank you Sandra for being present in those early sessions. and for helping me realise I wasn’t losing my mind.”
